Alchimia Grow Shop introduces the Smart Valve, a fully automatic flood irrigation system that operates without batteries or electricity.
This small device is designed to automatically water the plants in our indoor grow or on the terrace, detecting the lack of water and triggering itself.
It's really easy to use, simply place your plants on a grow tray with this valve. Next, connect the Smart Valve to the water tank using the included plastic tube and fill the tank with water.
The Smart Valve will automatically fill the tray with 2cm of water, enough for the plants to absorb it by capillarity action, and draw the water up for themselves themselves.
It works via an ingenious membrane system that inflates in contact with water to cut off the flow of water from the tank, and upon drying reactivates, flooding the tray again.
It is enough to keep the plants of a 1m2 tray perfectly hydrated.
