Positronics have crossed Somango with their much-loved Critical 47 to create Somango 47, one of the most vigorous strains in their catalogue.
This spectacular cannabis hybrid has quickly become famous across Spain for it's heavy production, sturdy structure and powerful effect, earning itself the nickname 'La Bestia' or 'The Beast' in particular for it's performance outdoors, where it can reach a truly impressive size and give an amazing yield.
Somango 47 grows as a stocky, robust plant, showing a very compact development and short internodal distances. Quickly growing into a voluminous rounded bush-like shape, it develops strong, thick branches capable of supporting the enormous buds that harvest time will bring.
The finished buds are a delight for the senses, showing a firm, dense floral structure with both leaf and calyx covered in resin heads. The aromas produced bring to mind fruit liquors, with toasted, earthy and a touch of mineral scent. The sweet and fruity flavoured smoke is smooth and satisfying, leaving a delicious lingering aftertaste in the mouth and a dense perfume to the room. The effect is fast-acting, powerful and long-lasting, with a surprisingly euphoric, uplifting sensation for an Indica-dominant cultivar.
As a heavy-producing plant with a compact, bushy structure, it is mildly susceptible to botrytis attacks if growing conditions are not adequate. Positronics recommend the selective pruning of interior branches to improve air circulation and help to prevent fungal problems.
Indoors, it is recommended to plant between 14-16 plants per square meter, using a 12/12 growing light cycle from germination. This strain will produce huge yields indoors, but it's in the great outdoors that this plant's inner beast really shows itself, growing to it's full potential, with massive harvests of huge hard buds full of trichomes.
