Strain Hunters Seedbank is a seedbank born from the legendary Green House Seeds, one of the most influential names in the European cannabis scene. Founded by Arjan, Franco, and Simon, this project has a clear mission: to rescue and preserve traditional cannabis strains - the landraces - directly in their natural habitat.
Instead of creating genetics in laboratories, the Strain Hunters team undertook trips to remote areas such as Malawi, India, Morocco, Swaziland, Colombia and Trinidad, and St. Vincent. In these places, they not only collected seeds but also collaborated with local farmers to study the behaviour of the plants in their original ecosystem.
