Sundae Frost Auto Autoflower by Fast Buds

Information on Sundae Frost Auto

Sundae Frost Auto is a feminized autoflowering strain from Fast Buds with a balanced hybrid genotype, a sweet and creamy dessert aromatic profile with gassy undertones, and potency reaching up to 30% THC. Its effect combines an euphoric onset with subsequent body relaxation. It's ideal for growers seeking short cycles, manageable plants, and buds with a resin load well above the usual.

Sundae Frost Auto genetics: two competition-grade autos

This variety is an F1 hybrid with a ratio of 50% sativa and 50% indica, resulting from the cross between Frostbanger Auto F4 and Sundae Thumper. Fast Buds has brought together two lines that had already stood out in autoflowering competitions: Frostbanger Auto received recognition as the most potent autoflower at the Autoflower World Cup, while Sundae Thumper, created by Mephisto Genetics, was chosen best hybrid at the American Autoflower Cup.

Each parent contributes a clear trait. Frostbanger Auto brings to the table the potency and extreme resin production, which translates into buds that appear frost-covered. Sundae Thumper adds the dessert character, with that sweet and creamy background that defines the variety's final profile.

In the breeder's tests, two phenotypes were observed that share the same terpene profile and differ mainly in color. The first produces predominantly green buds with subtle purple or pink touches, while the foliage remains green throughout the cycle. The second is more striking: the buds remain green with purple hues, but the leaves darken to almost black tones, creating a very eye-catching contrast in the grow room.

In cultivation: fast, compact and productive

Sundae Frost Auto completes its cycle in about 70–75 days from seed to harvest, with a flowering phase of 7 to 8 weeks. This speed allows chaining several runs indoors without extending room times and making good use of the season outdoors.

The plant develops a uniform and contained structure, with a typical height of 60 to 100 cm. It forms dense and well-loaded colas, making it a very practical option for grow cabinets and small spaces where height is a limiting factor.

Indoors it can produce between 450 and 600 g/m² in a well-adjusted grow, while outdoors production ranges between 80 and 250 g per plant. It adapts to indoor, outdoor, greenhouse, and mixed light systems, making it a versatile genetics for different types of setups.

Regarding difficulty, it's a variety suitable for beginners. It grows predictably and doesn't require constant attention, although its stability, speed, and plant uniformity also make it interesting for experienced growers seeking productive cycles and homogeneous results.

Flavor and effect: creamy dessert, fruit and a touch of gas

The aromatic profile of Sundae Frost Auto resembles a dessert with character. Sweet and creamy notes appear in the foreground, accompanied by fruit nuances, and behind emerges a deeper and slightly gassy background. Completing the ensemble is a spicy and fresh touch that brings cleanness to the bouquet.

The aroma evolves during cultivation: in the early weeks it's lighter and cleaner, and it intensifies and gains depth as the buds mature. In the final phase it becomes an intense smell, so it's advisable to have good odor control indoors.

As for the effect, it's described as a hybrid and balanced profile. It begins with an uplifting and euphoric rise that, over the minutes, drifts toward a body-centered relaxation without clouding the mind. Considering its levels of up to 30% THC and CBD below 1%, it's a potent variety that should be dosed with moderation.
