Velvet Moon is an Indica dominant hybrid. A Do-Si-Dos selection with a high recognition in the US crossed with Holy Punch, one of the latest breeding projects by Franco Loja.
Velvet Moon shows a vigorous growth in all types of cultivation, developing a large number of side branches. These no need of support with stakes until late flowering. It delivers medium-high yields.
The compact spherical flowers show beautiful colours, forming large calyxes thanks to the Holy Punch inheritance. The buds develop large amounts of resin due to the Do-Si-Dos heritage.
Velvet Moon's terpenes are sweet and spicy, reminiscent of fresh fruit (Holy Punch) combined with sour and earthy lemon notes coming from Do-Si-Dos, making the smoke delicious on the exhale.
Velvet Moon produces an almost instant and long lasting mental high that slowly fades into a blissful and pleasant happy feeling that lasts for hours.

I planted three seeds; one broke at the root when I planted it deeper—that was my fault. Another sprouted from a topped seedling and died after two weeks. The third and last surviving plant was very stunted from the start, quite slow and strange, and showed persistent signs of deficiencies, but it has survived so far. I definitely wouldn't recommend it…
