White Widow Regular from Dutch Passion is the regular seed version of the classic F1 from the 80s: a predominantly indica hybrid, with a spicy and pine aroma, THC levels placed by sources between 18% and 22%, and an effect that starts euphoric and ends relaxing. Ideal for growers seeking the original genetics to make their own selections and crosses.

Genetics: the Brazilian x Indian cross

White Widow was born from the cross between a Brazilian landrace sativa and an Indian landrace indica, specifically from Kerala. Different sources place the distribution around 75-80% indica. From the Brazilian come the vigor and cerebral spark; from the Indian, the compact structure, medium internodes, and that resin production that gives the variety its name. The result is a medium-sized plant, branched and with a very good bud-to-leaf ratio.

In cultivation: simple and short flowering

Indoors it stays around 100-130 cm and flowers in 7-9 weeks, with productions of 400-500 g/m². Outdoors it reaches 180-240 cm and sources speak of between 800 g and 1 kg per plant, with harvest between late September and the first half of October. Its resistance to fungi and pests is medium, so it's advisable to monitor humidity at the end of flowering. It responds well to SOG and SCROG, and forgives mistakes.

Flavor and effect: pine, spices and citrus background

The profile is spicy and resinous, with clear pine and a citrus and fruity background; some phenotypes shift towards more gasoline or metallic notes. In smoke it's earthy and woody, dense and persistent. The effect starts with a euphoric and energetic high, suitable for creative tasks, and gradually drifts towards something more narcotic and physical as it progresses. With that 18-22% THC, it's advisable to dose carefully.
