This mostly Indica phenotype was selected for its amazing bud production and quality, which were transmitted to the cross.

Chocolate Skunk grows like a Sativa, with abundant side branching and suitable for all types of growing systems and conditions.

It only needs 50-55 days to complete its bloom in indoor grow rooms, reaching 70-100cm in height and yielding 350-450g/m2.

Outdoors, Chocolate Skunk can reach up to 2,5 metres in height, being easy to grow and producing high amounts of top grade buds. It is harvested by early September.

Sixbones 18-06-2019 I’m currently in week 11 from seed to bloom in the auto strain of Chico skunk...started to see flowers at week 4...and I’m currently week 7 of flowering (same with auto amnesia haze) my question is how many more weeks are left of flowering (my guess is between 2-4 weeks) I’m a 1st Time grower and Amy info would be greatly appreciated

Hi Sixbones,

I'd also say around 2-3 weeks, although it'd be best to check the colour of the trichomes. Here you have an excellent article on when to harvest according to trichome ripeness. Basically, you want all trichomes to look milky, that's the best moment.

Charles 10-04-2019 just hit nine weeks and still have a month to go. had a hiccup early veg but otherwise great genetics and the chocolate/sweet/coffee taste/smell overrides the skunk trait somewhat surprised figured it would be the other way around ????

I noticed that, according to this info, both white widow and chocolate skunk have a 50-55 days flowering period, but, if you're growing them outdoor, chocolate skunk should be harvested in early September and white widow in mid-October. is chocolate skunk supposed to start flowering sooner than white widow? I'm wondering because I have one of each, and want to make sure I do this right!

They'll start flowering by the same time approximately, although the Widow will probably take a few more weeks to finish.
