Information

Alchimia presents Grapefruit from Positronics Seeds, a plant famous for its strong odor, intoxicating and bitter, that blooms quickly and offers a large central bud. Its origins still remain as an enigma, what makes it even more interesting and attractive. Now available in the feminized marijuana seeds catalog of Alchimiaweb!

As we said, the origins of Grapefruit remain unknown; some sources claim that it would be a backcross of the Jack Herer cannabis strain , others that it is the result of crossing NL x Skunk x Afghani.

To preserve its smell, taste, and the quality of the harvested flowers, we decided to reproduce this genetic by self-pollination, a technique also called Inbreeding. This allowed us to preserve the organoleptic qualities of the original S1 clone in seed form.

This Indica hybrid blooms fast, 55 days indoors for a harvest of approximately 450g/m2. Outdoors, it is ripe around the second week of October for a harvest that may reach 400g per plant. It's important to give it plenty of light and good ventilation to avoid any problems with powdery mildew.

Grapefruit doesn't develop many secondary branches and tends to grow with a columnar shape. Despite of the considerable main cola produced by Grapefruit, stakes are not required, nor applying any other fixing/supporting techniques, thanks to its thick main stem. This variety produces few leafs of medium size.

Grapefruit develops flowers that show a lot of bright orange hairs, emanating an intoxicating and cloying smell, capable of seducing any cannabis grower, either beginner or expert. The taste is mainly sour, with a combination of citric flavors, while the effect is stimulating, active, mostly Sativa.

Humboldt Home Grower

Purchased some POSITRONICS GRAPEFRUIT seeds last year and I finally got the chance to start them. So far it has been just over a month since I germinated my seeds. I started them in the lil Coco seed pods, which I've honestly never tried before. To start, the seeds germinated and poped through the top soil in about 4 days, on day 7 they were standing about 2" tall and perky with it's first set of leaves stretched out and working on the second set of leaves. I transplanted into 5" square pots with some good draining Happy Frog soil. After another week the plants have all grown to about 4-5" in height and adding more and more leaves. We are now at approximately 4-5 weeks from the day palanted the seeds in their starter pods and they are now about 6-8" in height and about the same in width streching out their crisp green 5-7 leaf fingers. I'm about to top all of them and transplant again into 1gal pots and let them strech out another week or two before topping again and transplanting one last time into their final homes. I will post more again after everyone is in the ground. As of now all are healthy and happy and progressing better than expected. ???? ???????? Can't wait for the season to end and enjoy the reaps.
