Genetics and origin of Green-O-Matic

Behind Green-O-Matic there is a carefully constructed cross that combines Ruderalis, the indica robustness of Moroccan, the compactness of White Dwarf from Buddha Seeds and the consolidated autoflowering response of Low Rider from Joint Doctor.

The result is a variety with indica dominance that inherits the best of each line: the Ruderalis and Low Rider automatic gene, the Moroccan resinous density and the manageable structure of White Dwarf. A genetic base that also makes it a reference for other varieties from the seed bank itself, such as Auto-Bomb or Kalashnikova Automatic.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation

In indoor cultivation, Green-O-Matic completes its full cycle in just 7 to 9 weeks from germination, with a flowering phase of approximately 6 weeks. Its height is between 30 and 50 cm, which makes it especially manageable in small spaces. An 18/6 photoperiod is recommended, it is tolerant to fertilization, heat and low humidity, and responds very well to cultivation in SOG system. It is not recommended to apply LST, SCROG or cloning techniques due to its autoflowering nature. Production under standard conditions is medium, with ranges between 250 and 450 g/m², although intensive SOG configurations can notably increase that result.

In outdoor cultivation, its compact silhouette between 30 and 40 cm and its discreet smell profile make it an ideal option for terraces, balconies and urban crops. It can be harvested at any time of year as long as temperatures exceed 10 °C, which considerably expands its cultivation window in Mediterranean climates. Production per plant ranges between 30 and 150 g depending on conditions and management.

Aromas, flavors and effects

Green-O-Matic displays an aromatic profile dominated by sweet and earthy notes, with hints of lemon, hashish and a diesel background that provides character. Some phenotypic expressions add floral, spicy and bubble gum touches. On the palate, the flavor follows that line: hashish and sweet lemon predominate, with a floral presence and a slight spicy touch that rounds off each puff.
