Awarded Best Indica at Expogrow Irun in 2013, Motavation is the end result of a long-term breeding project set in motion years back by Magus Genetics' head breeder Gerrit and now made available by Serious Seeds.
For a short time during it's development it was given the name Medizin Power due to it's profound medical effects, and now the final hybrid, which brings Sensi Star and Warlock genetics into the mix, is even more hard hitting.
It's new name is somewhat misleading however, as contrary to the energetic boost that the name might suggest, Motavation will leave you firmly locked to the couch while your mind enjoys unlimited creative thoughts and ideas that you'll be far too relaxed to act upon!
A heavily Indica dominant cultivar, plants are uniformly short, bushy and stocky with lush green foliage, Motavation grows quickly and is vigorous but without stretching too much during the early stages of flowering.
Perfect for indoor growing, it's ideal for SOG (Sea Of Green) cultivation and given a longer vegetative period adapts well to LST (Low Stress Training) and SCROG (Screen Of Green) methods. Serious Seeds recommend a growth period of 5-6 weeks for seedlings and 10-14 days for clones. Also suitable for outdoor/greenhouse cultivation in temperate/mediterranean climates.
Motavation produces large crops of long, thick and dense colas with impressive resin production, It also has a very high calyx to leaf ratio, making it a trimmer's dream at harvest time. The aromas of the flowers are intense and pungent, with predominantly citric and lemon overtones and hints of fresh paint or turpentine.
The effect is powerful, soothing, narcotic and very relaxing indeed, with great therapeutic benefits, offering users relief from insomnia, pain, anxiety and depression. Motavation is a wonderful feel-good herb for chilling-out at home at the end of a hard day.
