Sulphur flakes

Sulphur is a fungicide that also acts against red spider mites. Sulphur alters the pH of the plant surface, preventing fungus from taking hold and growing on the leaves, thus avoiding the attack of these parasitic fungal pathogens.

It is effective against powdery mildew, although its use is only recommended during the vegetative growth stage. It is advisable not to apply it during the flowering period to avoid product residues which compromise the quality of the finished flowers.

These sulphur flakes can be applied using a sulphur burner, controlling pathogens like powdery mildew as well as pests like the dreaded red spider mite.
