Alchimia presents Begonia seeds by Rocalba, one of the most widespread edible flowering plants in gardens all over the Mediterranean area.

Begonia flowers offer a tangy, lemony flavour with a crunchy texture. It is the perfect addition to salads and sandwiches. The whole petals are often used as a garnish for desserts as well as yoghurts.

This widespread use is due to its extremely easy cultivation. It is a plant with a large ramification not exceeding 30 cm. Its flowering is one of the most prolific among the edible flowers.

It is a perennial plant which, depending on cold and frost, behaves as an annual or seasonal plant.
