Brasil X K.C. Regular by K.C. Brains

Information on Brasil X K.C.

Brasil X K.C. is a regular variety from K.C. Brains, the veteran Dutch seed bank, that brings Brazilian sativa heritage to indoor cultivation. Predominantly sativa, it stands out for its intense aroma with hints of lemon, exotic woods and incense, a THC content around 16–18%, and an effect that combines a cerebral rush with a heavy body finish. It's ideal for growers seeking a compact, productive sativa with character, and for those who prefer working with regular seeds to select their own phenotypes or produce offspring.

Genetics: a Brazilian sativa adapted for indoors

This variety originates from crossing Mango Vermelho, a sativa from Paranaíba (Brazil), and K.C. 606, one of the company's lines. The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid that the seed bank describes as stable and that was specifically conceived for cultivation under lamps, where pure sativas often prove difficult to manage due to their height.

The plant retains the appearance of a classic sativa: narrow dark green leaves, a firm and slender main stem, and a Christmas tree-shaped silhouette. This open architecture allows light and air to pass between branches, enabling buds to develop thick and compact along the entire plant.

Being regular seeds, you'll get both male and female plants. This makes them a good choice for growers who want to make their own selections, keep a mother plant, or carry out home crosses from genetics with South American roots.

In cultivation: compact and generous in production

Indoors, Brasil x K.C. stays around 90 cm in height, an unusual size for a sativa and very comfortable for cabinets and rooms with limited ceiling height. Flowering completes in 9 to 12 weeks (63–84 days), a range worth considering when planning the cycle, as variation between plants is typical of regular genetics.

Production is notable for its size: up to 150 g per plant can be achieved indoors. To direct this energy, the seed bank recommends topping the branch tips, a technique that controls its tendency to grow in a cone shape and concentrates vigor in fewer but stronger tops.

Outdoors the plant stretches much more, it can reach 3 meters depending on conditions, with productions of 750 to 800 g per plant. Despite its sativa heritage, it behaves as a relatively early-maturing variety: harvest can begin in late September and extend until late October.

During flowering, the buds start releasing an intense smell, though manageable, so indoors an activated carbon filter will suffice. At the end of the cycle, the flowers appear large, dense and very sticky, loaded with resin.

Flavor and effect: citrus, woody with a touch of incense

The aromatic profile of Brasil x K.C. is pronounced and easy to recognize. Lemon notes predominate over a background of exotic woods and incense, with tropical-style fruity nuances and a slightly sweet point that becomes noticeable when the flowers are properly cured.

On the palate it maintains this combination of citrus and resinous, with a woody finish reminiscent of its sativa origin. It's a flavor with personality, far from the more common sweet profiles, designed for those who appreciate genetics with a South American accent.

The effect starts with a powerful cerebral rush and evolves toward a heavy physical state, the kind that invites you to stay on the couch. Due to this progression, it fits better in rest moments, like a weekend afternoon, than in active days. With THC around 16–18%, it offers solid potency without reaching the extremes of the most loaded modern genetics.
