Now at Alchimia Grow Shop, Freshmushrooms Golden Teacher XP 1200ml mushroom cakes fully colonised with fresh and quality mycelium.
This entheogenic mushrooms growing kit is very simple to use, containing all elements to start the culture immediately.
The cake is made of sterile grain colonised with Psilocybe Cubensis Golden Teacher mycelium which it is placed in a 1200ml container.
The kit also includes a transparent perforated bag and a clip to seal it and where the cake is placed for its fructification. We recommend using a heated mini-greenhouse instead to obtain the best results.
Golden Teacher mushrooms are in the market since the 80s, coming with the hippie culture in the United States. The exact origin is unknown.
Inoculated substrate with Psilocybe Cubensis Golden Teacher mycelium
The mushrooms grow thick and big with a beautiful golden cap. This is why they receive "Golden Teacher" name.
They are very simple and quick to cultivate, producing a second Flush much more powerful than the first. They are appreciated for its intense shamanic properties thanks to its high potency.
Using a digital thermo-hygrometer, with which to measure culture environment temperature and humidity will make the task even easier.
Maintaining the cake with a temperature of 22-24ºC and a constant humidity of 60% to 80%, the mushrooms will grow quickly and forcefully, particularly if following the instructions in the cultivation manual available online.
If the culture has the best conditions and we maintain a good hygiene, we can obtain several harvest or Flush easily, collecting the first mushrooms in just about 15-20 days.
Depending on the timely harvest and proper maintenance of the grow kits, they sometimes yield up to 4 harvests and a total yield of between 500-800g of fresh mushrooms (dry between 50g and 80g).

I want to give 5/5 review for this kit. The first flush grew just like the photo shows, and it grew very fast. Sadly i waited too long for harvest, after 12 days the caps were already opened and half of the mycelium turned black due to dropped spores, so the next flushes were much smaller, but that was my fault, not the kit. When you grow these, be ready for harvest after about 9-10 days. Still, the first flush gave me 300 grams fresh! I cannot give an exact comment on the potency as i have no proior experience with this, but they do have at least some potency i guarantee :) If you want a quick and easy way to get mushrooms, this is the way.

Hello, after the first harvest, I filled it with water, closed it with the lid (I put a little weight on it so that water would reach everywhere and not float), waited, and then poured the water. The result is that the new students did not come out on the surface but on the side. What was the problem? Thanks for the reply.

Within the first harvest I had no issues however with the second as said the mushrooms are much larger but it is starting to grow black fur type mould. Clearly I've gone wrong somewhere any ideas how or why?

Hello. Maybe the first flush had been harvested to late and it spread some spores; or the black fur can be a contamination, maybe transmitted when harvesting the first flush.

When first flush is harvested and I want to get the fresh mushroom xp grow kit ready for second flush , then I need to fill it with water and wait 12 hours, but do the 12 hours need to be in a refrigerator ??? (3/5°)?

Hi, thanks for your comment and question. There's no need to keep the kit in the fridge while it's rehydrating, room temperature will be fine. Refrigeration is only important to keep the spores viable before the first hydration of the kit. Indeed, the rehydration of the kit after the first harvest will depend on how much moisture remains in the substrate. Often it's enough to soak it for just a few hours.
