Ketama is a 100% indica feminized cannabis strain from the Chef Chaouen zone - a town in Morocco famous for its high quality hashish - acclimated to the European climate since the 90's. Get it now among Alchimia's landrace marijuana seed collection.

The north part of Moroccan Rif is rich of cannabis resin producers, where towns like Ketama or Chef Chaouen are seen as references in the production of a golden and sandy hashish with complex, floral and spicy aroma and relaxing, positive effect. World of Seeds breeding team collected, selected and reproduced the best marijuana strains from the Rif zone, before acclimating them to European crops.

Ketama enjoys a dry and rocky soil, similar than that where it naturally grows, and has few watering and nutrititional needs: this strain achieves great results in guerilla crops, where plants receive irregular and infrequent care.

Ketama's flowering period takes from 55 to 70 days indoors, being harvested at mid October when grown outdoors, yielding 400-500 gr/plant. This indica variety is not resistant to molds, so protecting its big and resinous flowers in a greenhouse can be helpful. Actually, its compact structure makes Ketama suitable for being grown in this kind of environment.

Once dried and curred, Ketama's buds show a large resin layer that spreads intense hashish and noble wood scents. Its effect is relaxing, suitable for medicinal use of marijuana to treat pains and insomnia.
