Alchimia presents Lumatek 30W UV Supplemental Light LED Bar, a system that increases the light spectrum with UV light, improving the harvest by enhancing the flowers organoleptic properties and resin production.
Lumatek 30w UV Led light bar, more terpenes and more resin
Thanks to the 30w led ultraviolet light bar, the organoleptic properties (terpenes) and resins are intensified. It also helps to control pests such as fungi, very sensitive to this type of light. Lumatek supplementary LED bar provides UV light for cultivation and improves the flowers quality.
This UV LED Bar has an integrated power unit and can be connected in chain. Its design easily integrates into the well-known Zeus LED luminaires The chain connection cable (Daisy Chain for the UV LED bar) allows several LEDs to be easily connected. The bar has a single plug (input and output) for the daisy chain cable. UV Led ligh bar power cable (4m) and Daisy Chain for the UV LED bar (1.5m) are sold separately.

The recommended use of UV-B + UV-A radiation is to be used as a complement to Zeus luminaires. It should be used the last 4 weeks of flowering before harvest.
If there are counterproductive effects on the plants, it is recommended to increase the distance between the lamp and the plant tips.

The LED bar can easily be installed into Zeus luminaires. In order to obtain the best results, it is recommended the use of 2 LED bar units with:

The Supplemental 30W UV LED bar provides the scientifically appropriate amount of UV-B (280-315nm) and UV-A (315-400nm) radiation to plants.
One bar can provide up to 2.2 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-B and 518 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-A output. Lumatek ensures that the bar does not produce UV-C radiation. It offers a life service of about 8500 hours, and a 140º light angle.
Precautions to note with Lumatek 30W UV Supplemental Light LED Bar:
- Use only on plants
- It emits UVB and UVA electromagnetic radiation (wavelengths from 280 to 400 nm). Please turn off the supplementary LED system during its installation. Avoid accessing the cultivation when it is on. If you need to access the cultivation, you should cover yourself with opaque material (included face, neck, head, hands) wearing long pants, appropriate footwear, gloves and lab coat (always long sleeved) and also wearing protective goggles, never looking directly at the light.
- High temperatures can considerably reduce the service life of supplementary UV LED bars.
- Never put the UV LED bar in contact with any surface when it is on.
