In collaboration with counter-culture legend Tommy Chong, Paradise Seeds proudly present their new line of feminised seeds, Chong's Choice, launching with Mendocino Skunk as one of it's first strains, inspired by two important epicentres of global cannabis culture, Mendocino and Amsterdam.
Legendary since the 1960s for it's prolific outdoor-grown weed production, California's Emerald Triangle region is made up of three counties, with possibly the most famous being Mendocino. Naturally, this area is also the source of some high quality genetics, which were crossed with a coffeeshop classic from Amsterdam, a remarkable Skunk from the Paradise Seeds vaults.
A 60/40 sativa-indica hybrid, Mendocino Skunk is a highly adaptable plant, performing very well indoors, while it's geographical origins also offer excellent outdoor results in northern Europe, Canada and North America. It also thrives in the hot sun, giving an even bigger yield in warm Mediterranean climates.
Mendocino Skunk is simple to cultivate, it grows with well-balanced Sativa-Indica characteristics, making it easy to control and an ideal choice for beginners but still highly recommended for more experienced gardeners.
With it's compact and bushy structure, it's perfect for growing in reduced spaces. It's stable genetics mean Mendocino Skunk plants are uniform with a strong main cola and well developed secondary branches. Yields are impressive, delivering heavy crops of large buds with an excellent calyx/leaf ratio that makes short work of trimming at harvest time.
Mendocino Skunk offers sweet fruity flavours, reminiscent of strawberries and a skunky, earthy background taste, with a potent yet balanced and clear effect that gives an excellent moment of relaxation without sacrificing the dynamic spirit of the Sativa influence.
