Barney's Farm presents here at Alchimiaweb.com Purple Punch, a feminised Indica dominant hybrid characterised by its purple colours.
It is a cross between Granddaddy Purple and Larry OG, both well-known for their extreme power and relaxing and narcotic effect, and united to produce the ultimate Indica variety.

It develops a dense and stocky shrubby structure, covered whole with buds during the flowering stage like a bouquet of flowers. Cultivated outdoors it can reach a height of 150cm.
It acquires the typical Indica structure, very robust, compact and branched. It adapts well to LST and SCROG cultivation methods and cultivation in limited spaces.
Purple Punch is very resistant to fungi and the red spider and adapts well to any climate condition. It is very easy to cultivate offering good results to all cannabis growers.
This 90/10 Indica - Sativa hybrid matures after about 50-60 days cultivated indoors, with the harvest ready at the end of September cultivated outdoors.

It offers an abundant yields of up to 700g per m2 cultivated indoors, and up to 2000g per plant cultivated outdoors in open ground. It produces fleshy, resinous and aromatic flowers with a delightful purple colour.
It produces an intense and penetrating aroma by smoking it or using a cannabis vaporiser, reminiscent of sweet apple pie and other pastries, permeating our palate with every puff.

Es una pregunta sin una respuesta correcta... pero 9, 12 ó 16 si estás comenzando es un buen número de plantas y maceta de 7-11L.

The smoke is very pleasant and strong but the yield is not even close to what the Breeder claims. I had 3 plants outdoors each in 40 gallon grow bags and the heaviest plant was a bit over 140 gram dry !

Hi and thanks for taing the time to leave your comment sharing your experience with this variety. We're sorry that it didn't produce what you expected. I think that the breeders can be somewhat overoptimistic in their estimations of yield, especially with some of these new US "hype" strains like Purple Punch, Cookies, Gelato, etc, which all produce really high-quality flowers but none of which are known as heavy yielders. While it's always possible to find a more productive phenotype, as a general rule, these varieties put quality over quantity. I can fully understand your frustration though, as 140g is well under-par for a 40 gallon container, although I hope you enjoy your harvest anyway. I wish you much more success next time.
