Hi, thanks for your comment. That's a great question! When the weather is as ridiculously hot as it is at the moment, it's recommended to cut back on fertiliser levels. This is because the plant will be "drinking" so much water during the heat wave that it may not be able tp process all the nutrients at their normal concentratiins, which can lead to a buildup of nutrients in the substrate and subsequent toxicity. Try and work out exactly how much more water you're giving the plants as compared to "normal" irrigation, and then calculate the proportional dosage of fertiliser. For example, if you're providing the plants with twice the amount of water than usual, then try decreasing nutrient levels to 50%, and so on. You can also use a product containing silicon (for example Pro-Silicate) which will help the plants cope with heat stress a little better. I hope that helps. Best wishes and happy growing!
