Special Original Haze is a pure sativa from Cannapot Seeds, a direct selection of the Original Haze from Flying Dutchmen that recovers the incense, wood and citrus profile of the classic Hazes. With a THC content between 20% and 26%, it offers a markedly cerebral effect, ideal for growers looking for an authentic Haze and not a modern, sweetened interpretation.

Genetics: Selected Original Haze, no crosses

There is no hybridization here. Cannapot has worked by selection on the Original Haze from Flying Dutchmen, a sativa line whose family tree goes back to the Colombian sativas that gave rise to the entire Haze family. The result is tall plants, with pronounced stretching and open branching, although with thicker buds than is usually expected from a pure Haze.

In cultivation: demanding in time and space

Flowering extends between 12 and 13 weeks, about eighty or ninety days, so it's advisable to plan the height from the start. The breeder recommends growing it indoors or in a well-ventilated greenhouse, except in tropical areas or very warm parts of southern Europe where they can finish outdoors. Despite the long cycle, it has a surprisingly manageable cultivation. The stigmas continue emitting white hairs until the end, so it's advisable to check the trichomes from week 10 onwards to decide the harvest date.

Flavor and effect: incense, wood and citrus

The aroma is old school Haze: incense, woody background and spicy notes, rounded off by a citrus touch that distinguishes it from the original. The effect is powerful and stimulating, cerebral in nature and long-lasting, capable of surprising even veteran sativa enthusiasts. CBD remains low, around 0.4%, with THC that can reach 26%.
