Adiyaman tobacco is a traditional variety originating from Anatolia, Turkey. Renowned for its large leaves and distinctive qualities, it is primarily cultivated for its moderate nicotine content, which ranges from 1.7 to 2.0%. Adiyaman Tobacco Plant cultivation

Adiyaman tobacco is best cultivated in pots. Seedlings should be placed on a shelf under a light shelter at a temperature of approximately 18°C. The seeds should be lightly covered with soil. Once the plants have reached the multi-leaf stage, they should be transplanted into individual pots. After the last frost, the plants can be planted in the ground. Dwarf varieties require a spacing of 20cm in all directions, while more vigorous varieties need 80cm of space.

The undercover sowing period for Adiyaman tobacco spans from March to May, with harvesting occurring between June and September. This variety can be cultivated in the ground or in pots, provided it receives ample sunlight. The plant has moderate water requirements and thrives in moist, rich, cool, and well-drained soils.
