Jaune Tardive Yellow Brandywine, large tomatoes with impressive weight and size
The Jaune Tardive Yellow Brandywine tomato variety was introduced in 1991 by Craig LeHoullier, though its origins trace back to Illinois. This indeterminate variety exhibits strong growth vigour, reaching heights of up to 3m and producing large oxheart-shaped tomatoes, ranging from 350 to 700g, in a distinctive golden yellow hue. With a very pleasant flavour, this variety is ideal for raw consumption, particularly in salads.
It is recommended to sow the seeds in February once the risk of frost has passed and transplant them once the seedlings have developed two pairs of true leaves. Maintain a spacing of 50cm between plants for optimal growth.
