CBD Himalayan (aka Sensi #49 CBD) by Sensi Seeds is a feminised Indica dominant plant with a high CBD level, a cross between two Indica varieties, Kush x Hindu Kush CBD.

CBD Himalayan, a compact and well-branched development

CBD Himalayan develops like an Indica plant, easy to cultivate and adapting well to different climates and growing methods. It develops compact and well-branched, it is a good option for both indoor and outdoor cultivation.

Cultivated indoors it responds well to pruning and trellising, thus can be grown using SOG or SCROG techniques. Cultivated outdoors, Sensi #49 can produce large-sized plants developing well in temperate continental climates, sowing the seeds in early spring and providing a good substrate volume to express itself fully.

CBD Himalayan – a fast and productive flowering

In the flowering stage, it produces large and compact buds typical of Indica strains originally from the Hindu Kush Valley slopes, where many Indica genetic lines originated. These plants are known for the high resin concentration of their flowers.

CBD Himalayan is the result of a CBD-rich phenotypes selection to ensure a progeny also having high cannabidiol levels for therapeutic use. Containing more CBD than THC, its psychoactive effect is very limited, allowing cannabis consumption without feeling any psychedelic effect.

It offers a generous harvest both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, we can obtain a yield of up to 550g per m2 in 60 days, and outdoors a yield exceeding 800g per plant with the harvest ready in October. It is an excellent option for resin extractions and produces ointments or CBD oil, or simply consume its flowers with a cannabis vaporiser of your choice.

It has flavours and aromas reminiscent of the 90s cannabis varieties, with an Old School sandalwood and hash aroma, accompanied here by a high CBD content to relax and enjoy the therapeutic properties of CBD-rich strains.

Opinions about CBD Himalayan (aka Sensi #49 CBD) and questions

Edward Woodcock-Pride 14-12-2019 I was just curious about an actual percentage of cbd as it's not advertised anywhere.

Alchimia Grow Shop 16-12-2019 Hi Edward, thanks for your question. When we publish any information about seeds, we're dependant upon the data that the seed bank or breeder makes available. In this case, Sensi has only said that it has a 1:2 THC to CBD ratio. At a guess, I'd say that the best you could hope for would be around 5% THC and 10% CBD although that is a very rough guess. These things are subject to a fair amount of natural variation, so there may well be phenotypes with a greater or lesser percentage and with slightly different cannabinoid ratios. I'd imagine that the 1:2 ratio is an average result over a large number of plants that Sensi have tested. I hope that helps, all the best and happy growing!
