Pineapple Express feminised seeds by Barney's Farm
Alchimia is happy to present Pineapple Express, the new Barney's Farm feminised variety. It is a 60% Sativa hybrid that combines landrace strains from Hawaii, Afghanistan, Mexico, and Thailand.
On the one hand a Hawaiian Landrace, a native Sativa with counterparts that have evolved over generations. On the other hand, Trainwreck, a controlled mixture that unites Afghan selections with native Mexican and Thai Sativas.
Pineapple Express is the result of this international cross, a powerful Sativa easy to grow and resistant to different growing issues that may arise during cultivation.
It produces flowers of extraordinary potency, with a terpenes profile that sends the consumer to the most tropical areas of the world.
Pineapple Express, high production and fungi resistance
Pineapple Express is ideal for any cultivator. It is a plant that grows easily, with great vigour and speed. It is a medium sized plant with light green foliage, with a strong and dense but stretched structure, short internodal spacing and very strong branches. It produces very dense lime green and yellow flowers. The trichomes are clearly distinguishable as they turn bright red and amber at the point of maturation. A great feature in the choice of this variety is its high resistance to diseases, mould, and other fungal infestations.
Indoors it adapts perfectly to all cultivation techniques, working great in SCROG thanks to its prolific ramification. It is also suitable for SOG cultivation by controlling the height and branches sufficiently. It can reach up to 110-140cm, with the harvest ready for optimal flower maturation in about 55-65 days from switch to flowering. It offers a yield of up to 600-700g per m2. It is a great choice for outdoors cultivation thanks to its high resistance to fungi. Outdoors you can easily grow plants up to 2m if not controlled by pruning methods. The harvest is ready in early to mid-October, with a yield of up to 1500-2000g per plant.
Pineapple Express, a journey to the (psycho)tropics
Pineapple Express offers a very broad terpenes profile, with a strong dominance of myrcene, a terpene that can pleasantly impact the high. Unique tropical aromas and flavours with sweet pineapple and mango, accompanied by truffles with cedary and spicy undertones.
It produces a high potency energising effect, with a cerebral stone that progresses to a calming but blissfully equally energetic feeling. This is thanks to the fact that some individuals easily exceed a THC level of 25%. By combining flavours and effects, certainly it can be described as a psychotropic variety.
