Antirrhinum cultivation, like most native Mediterranean flowers, does not require any special care. It is a plant that has little resistance to frost, and may not survive when it does occur, although this is not too dramatic as it is a biennial plant.
The origin of the name is curious (Antirrhinum), of Greek root meaning "as if it had a nose" (anti-like and rhinon-nose).
