The Indigo Mi-Saison Jl Midnight Select is a variety bred by Lee Goodwin of J&L Gardens in New Mexico, genetically related to the smaller-fruited Blue Bumblebee Forest.
This indeterminate variety typically grows to a height of 120cm. It adapts well to almost any type of well-drained soil, thriving particularly in substrates rich in organic matter and with plenty of sun exposure.
Thanks to its striking indigo-blue colour, sometimes appearing almost black, and its high anthocyanin content (a powerful antioxidant), this variety produces clusters of six cherry tomatoes. The fruits have a greenish tinge, dense flesh, and a pleasant flavour.
