INSECT FRASS® - Microbia Boost® is insect guano (black soldier fly). A product of 100% organic origin, this microbial booster enriches the microbiota of the soil, which directly improves the absorption of organic fertilisers by plants. Ideal product for organic farming.

Insect Frass, much more than simple insect guano

Its agronomic interest goes beyond the performance of mealworm guano, already known for its effectiveness on plant metabolism.

It is very interesting to combine Insect Frass with regular fertilisers for 4 reasons:

• It is rich in Chitin, an amino sugar that allows the development of an effective microbiota to protect plants from pathogens such as Fusarium. It also plays an essential role with mycorrhizae. Chitin is both a key resource for optimal mycorrhizae, and a high-value food for certain beneficial soil bacteria.
• It reactivates soils and improves the availability of nutrients such as phosphorus to enable abundant flowering.
• Insect Frass complements organic fertilisers.
• The NPK (3/2.2/2.4) of Insect Frass insect guano is balanced, ideal for supporting the nutritional needs of abundant flowering. It releases its active ingredients gradually, without any risk of burning. However, its action is immediate when it is incorporated into the soil.
• Insect Frass has a protective function, as the immune system of all living organisms depends on the quality of the microbiota. Insect guano is rich in probiotics and prebiotics, particularly chitinous polysaccharides.

How to use Insect Frass guano

• For pot culture: Mix 5 grams of Insect Frass per litre of substrate at the time of transplanting before flowering.
• For cultivation in mother soil: Incorporate by tilling the soil during the 5th-6th week of flowering. Repeat after 15 days for flowering periods longer than 9 weeks.
