Mataro Blue, from Kannabia, was created to honor the city where this seed bank was created.
For the creation of this multi-hybrid, a selection of several marijuana strains - such as Blue Berry , Afgan Original (mazar-i-Sharif) and Black Domina - was made . These three genetics were stabilized with the Kannabia K male, which provides an increase in the production of flowers besides a high stability during the whole cultivation.
From the offspring of this precious genetic crossing arose a great marijuana plant, a very Indica type, with short stature, ideal for SOG and SCROG growing systems.
During flowering, Mataro Blue will produce hard and compact flowers filled with resin, easily obtaining extreme yields of 600 gr/m2 - indoors -and 700 gr per plant - outdoors -. It is recommended using a tethering method to prevent branches from breaking under the weight of the flowers. The beautiful blue color that can be observed at the end of flowering - as long as temperatures are low - it is absolutely amazing.
