Information on TRABE ProNeem neem flour 450 gr
Now available at Alchimia, PRONEEM by Trabe is a 100% natural product made from neem meal (powder) obtained by grinding and drying the seeds and pulp of the Azadirachta indica tree. Its manufacturing process guarantees a product free from toxic residues, preserving the beneficial compounds of neem intact, especially azadirachtin (1,050 ppm), known for its bio-insecticidal properties and crop-protecting action.
Why is PRONEEM so valuable?
Neem meal, also known as neem flour, is a by-product traditionally used in organic agriculture for its ability to protect soil and plants, improve crop health and act as a deterrent against a wide range of pests. Proneem retains all the secondary metabolites of neem (limonoids, triterpenes and azadirachtin) and acts as:
- A natural nematicide, highly effective against phytoparasitic nematodes.
- A larvicide and ovicide, hindering the development of soil worms and larvae.
- A fungistatic agent, creating a less favourable environment for fungi such as Fusarium, Pythium or Rhizoctonia.
- A repellent for sap-sucking insects such as whiteflies, thrips and aphids.
Unlike other products, Proneem acts both on the root system, creating a healthy and balanced soil, and on the aerial part when used as a foliar application.
How to use PRONEEM in cultivation
Root application in irrigation water: Proneem can be used in watering to act directly on populations of nematodes, larvae and other substrate pathogens. Regular application creates an unfavourable environment for the development of soil pests, helps plants root more strongly and reduces stress caused by parasite attacks.
Mixed into the substrate: One of the most effective and long-lasting methods. When integrated into the substrate, neem meal acts progressively, releasing its compounds throughout the cycle.
Main benefits include:
- Improves beneficial microbial activity in the soil.
- Reduces the incidence of fungus gnat larvae, worms and nematodes.
- Prevents root diseases
- Especially recommended for organic crops, homemade soil mixes or reused substrates.
Foliar application: In addition to its soil functions, PRONEEM can be used as a spray.
It acts as a natural repellent against sap-sucking insects, hindering the feeding and reproduction of pests such as:
- Whitefly
- Thrips
- Aphids
- Scale insects
Although it does not replace a Pure Neem Extract, micronised neem meal provides extra protection and is compatible with organic treatments.
Benefits of neem flour in cannabis cultivation
Neem “flour” or meal is an essential ally in organic agriculture, and PRONEEM makes the most of its advantages:
- Acts from the root when applied via irrigation, where many growth problems originate, promoting more vigorous plants with stronger stems and greater stress tolerance. It prevents infestations before they appear, which is key in cannabis cultivation where pests spread quickly.
- Leaves no toxic residues, making it suitable for organic cultivation and respectful of beneficial fauna.
- Improves substrate quality in the long term, turning it into a more fertile and balanced medium.
- Compatible with vermicompost, humus, microorganisms and other organic fertilisers.
- Continuous use creates a healthy root ecosystem, resulting in more balanced plants, better productivity and increased natural resistance.
