Coriander is an aromatic plant widely used in gastronomy to elaborate an infinite number of dishes. It is used both dried and fresh.
This aromatic herb has many properties; most notably, it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also digestive and prevents constipation. It is used to treat colic and flatulence.
Coriander grows up to 40-60cm. It can often be mistaken with parsley because of its great similarity.
It is an easy to grow plant, can be cultivated both in the ground and in pots. It is cold resistant. It is not fond of waterlogged soil. In summer, it produces small white flowers.
Cilandro is most commonly used for its leaves and seeds (ground or in grains).
