New York City Diesel genetics is a sativa cannabis strain worldwide reknowned for its remarkable characteristics, specially its citric fruity aroma, its high resin production and its cerebral festive effect. To increase the yield of this variety, Barney's Farm improved it with Indica by crossing it with a Californian Indica strain.
Red Diesel presents ramified structure and medium stature, usually growing up to 60-70cm in indoor cannabis crops . Its flowering period takes 65-75 days, during which it forms a lot of crystallised, fleshy and sweet and sour smelling buds. When grown outdoors, Red Diesel is ripe around mid October, with a production that can reach up to 500gr per plant.
The terpene profile of this cannabis variety is fruity, acid and earthy, while its effect is mentally active and entertaining, also body relaxing thanks to the Californian Indica's influence.
