The gateway to the peak within the Mondo range. Cultivating Utopia magic truffles requires a notably longer cycle than mild varieties, and this extended maturation is reflected in the concentration of active compounds.

4. Old Dutch

The Old Dutch magic truffles variety is one of the classic varieties of Dutch selective cultivation, and the first on this list outside the Mondo scale. Its documented profile is associated with waves of euphoria, and in smartshop literature it appears specifically noted as a strain suitable for high doses—that is, for those seeking to explore the upper end of the range.

As it doesn't belong to the Mondo range, it has no score on the 1-6 scale. Its position here is based on the classification given by Dutch distributors, not on data comparable to the previous ones.

3. Double Vision

The most peculiar reference in the catalogue, and the one that can be positioned most accurately without speculation: Double Vision is a 50% blend of Utopia and Old Dutch. It's not a distinct strain, but a deliberate combination of the two previous ones on this very list.

This gives it a dual profile that the community describes as reflective and introspective, with the sensory load of Utopía and the euphoric component of Old Dutch. By combining two varieties from the high range, the result sits above either of its two components separately.

For whom: those who have already tried Utopía or Old Dutch separately and are curious about the middle ground—which in practice is a higher point.

2. Valhalla

Probably the most recognized sclerotia variety in Europe. It occupies first place in the potency rankings of most Dutch smartshops, and some catalogs place it directly off the scale.

Its data indicates an approximate content of 1.4 mg of psilocybin and 0.2 mg of psilocin per gram of fresh weight. Botanically it is described as sclerotia of Psilocybe tampanensis, although its exact origin remains a subject of debate: some attribute it to a Dutch breeding project and others defend a wild origin.

Its documented profile combines a very marked visual component with a pronounced introspective and philosophical side. Unlike the more sociable strains, Valhalla tends to direct attention inward.

1. Hollandia

According to information from Mondo, its psilocybin and psilocin content can reach up to twice that of other varieties in the range: it surpasses Utopía (5/6), doubles the concentration of Atlantis (4/6) and triples that of Mexicana (2/6). A 15-gram package is considered in the community sufficient for two high-range sessions, which says quite a bit.

Unlike varieties with Mesoamerican roots, Hollandia is a product of Dutch selective cultivation: its developers dedicated more than two years to a selection process specifically aimed at surpassing the concentration of everything available on the market.

Its profile is described as the most intense and enveloping in the range, with a constant sensory component throughout the entire experience rather than appearing only in peaks. A practical detail: its flavor is considered less bitter than that of most sclerotia, with a nutty nuance.

For whom: exclusively for connoisseurs with extensive experience who have already explored Utopia or Atlantis. It is not a variety appropriate for first experiences or for microdosing.

So, Hollandia or Valhalla?

It's the inevitable comparison, and the honest answer is that there is no data that allows settling it. They are different brands, with different scales, without independent analyses measuring them with the same criteria. Mondo places Hollandia at its maximum; Valhalla distributors place it at theirs. Both are at the upper extreme of what is marketed in Europe.

What can be stated is that the difference between them is much smaller than the difference between either of them and a mid-range variety. And that, having reached that extreme of the scale, the determining factor ceases to be the strain.

Entering the catalog looking directly for the most concentrated reference is one of the decisions that most frequently ends in an unpleasant experience.
