Hi! We are in 2013 Spannabis. We are here with Simon, founder of Serious Seeds. Now, our workmate Edu will ask him a few questions, right?

Hola Simon, hi Simon, it's nice to meet you. We are going to make a few questions about your new variety, about the Serious Six .

What can you tell us about that new strain?

Welcome, to start, the first thing. I can tell you that we have been working on this strain for a couple years, and this is because because it is an outdoor strain, specially developed for the outdoor situation in Holland and countries around Holland. For that type of climate, for Spain... I, I don't know how it will perform in Spain.

It has been made to be ready very soon, for outdoor, and it is very mold resistant.

It is a very beautiful plant to see, it has the colour of pink, you know the hairs? Pink colour, it's very beautiful. It has a very nice aroma, for the smell, and I think it is now good enough to start selling, you know?

The reason why it took so long is that we can only test it once a year, because only one a year you can put the plants outside, and you can see, and then you do...prepare for the next year, and you can test it outside.

So the last year we tested it outside and we had about 20-25 different combinations of parents, mother and father...25 different. And then we said "This one is the best", so now we can start producing, and then we are in the process now, so that takes some time to have enough to multiply, make clones of the father and the mother and then make the seeds.

So I hope that this time, in time for the outdoor season, we'll have enough seeds to start selling.

So this is about May I think we'll have the seeds to start selling.

Right. And what you think about this strain, it will be possible to be grown in Spain? In the north of Spain it's too many...it's too wet, the weather...

The Northern area of the country is also very humid.

Yes, this is perfect! This plant is perfect fot that because it's very mold resistant, so no problems with molds, it is a Sativa plant,  and Sativas are good against molds, you know? So that is a good thing. It is ready in a very short time, that's very special for a Sativa.

Indoors, under the light, it takes about eight weeks to be ready, which is very quick. So that may be interesting for people who are growing indoors to have a Sativa plant which is very short-time, and for outdoor it is just very nice so when you live in a very bad conditions, very much moist in the air, fungus is a problem, this is a perfect plant for

It can also be suitable for that.
