Expogrow Irun is warming its engines!
This past Thursday 19th March, three members of the Alchimia team participated in the second edition of Dab-a-Doo Barcelona, an exceptional and unique cannabis event in the European territory.
It is a cannabinoid extraction tasting and competition divided into two categories: solvent extractions - basically BHO - and solventless resin separations, including different types of hashish like dry sift or water hash. This event is organized by Mila from Pollinator, the famous brand of marijuana resin extraction machines.
This year's edition of Spannabis has ended (40.000 participants!!) leaving good moments, memories, all the news, and, of course, the Cannabis Champions Cup awards.
Divided into 4 categories - Outdoor, Indoor Bio, Extractions and Resins - and with 3 awards per category, it evaluates the works of the different breeders and seedbanks who submit their best genetics.
The atmosphere during the awards was very good, as in previous years, and the participants could enjoy the excellent quality of the samples while trying to control the nerves .
It is a pleasure to see how, despite the competitiveness, the friendship between the participants is always present.

Spannabis Barcelona (Spain), 20-22 March 2015
This year, the 12th edition of Spannabis will be held in Barcelona (Cornellà), the Spanish fair that has become the most important European cannabis event with more than 33.000 visitors in its last edition. This fair has then become an excellent chance for the public to know all the news and developments in the market from the professionals of the marijuana sector and the manufacturers themselves.

Grow London 2014, the marijuana growing systems fair in London
During Expogrow fair 2014 in Irun, our team was lucky to chat with Marc Emery, who has recently been released from jail, as well as his lovely wife, Jodie. During this meeting we had the opportunity to ask Marc about the struggle for legalisation of marijuana in Canada, the reasons for his imprisonment in the USA and the current situation of cannabis plants in the world. At the end, Marc gave us precious tips to help improve the image of marijuana in Europe.
